The Addington Family: May 2017

May started off with us being EARLY to Aidan's game..while daddy was out of town.

Had to take a picture to document it :)

This cracks me up..both are looking different ways hahaha

We went and watched a little play with our best pals.

Aidan had to do an inventor project this year and he decided to do his on Steve Jobs.

We learned A LOT about Steve Jobs.

Sissy and I went up to see him give his speech, he did so well!

After soccer games one Saturday, we headed to Touch a Truck.

Aidan decided to opt out this year and hung out with Mom-Mom instead :)

Ace loved it! What we didn't love was the constant honking of horns.We were hearing horns honk for hours after haha

We spent time playing with friends.

Aaron and Sissy just hanging out in the pack n play.

Trent and I got to go out for our May date.

We ate dinner for date #5 out on a patio, the weather was beautiful!!

The next day Aaron and I met Mom-Mom and Sissy for pedicures :)

We woke up Mother's day morning and surprised Mom-Mom and Poppa at their church.

We ate a yummy lunch, then came home for naps. After naps we went and played a few holes of golf, then ended the night with ice cream for dinner. It was a wonderful Mother's day!

Aidan played his last game of soccer for the season. He really improved and had some really great games!

The last week of school we had fun at some playdates.

The three musketeers on their last day of 2 year old MDO.

Ace and his teacher Mrs. Beth. We loved Mrs. Beth!!

Jessi and I went and had coffee, while these two pals just hung out :)

Trent and I had tickets to see Train and they did not disappoint.

It was a fun night!!

We met friends at Little Sprouts.

Last day of school treats!

We now have a 4th grader!!!

We met the other Addington family at High Rise and had so much fun with cousins!

The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend we went to Mom-Mom and Poppa's to cookout and play in the water. It was so much fun!

May 30th was a VERY big day for our family!

Aidan officially became an Addington!!

This was a much anticipated day for our family..full of nerves and excitement. We were praying for a smooth day, but we didn't know if we would be fought or have any issues. Everything could not have gone smoother. It was such a full circle moment for us when the judge came out. She remembered us and was genuinely so happy for our family. We are just so thankful to God for letting everything go so well, this is something we have prayed for for a very long time.

Afterwards we went to lunch and Aidan kept saying thing like.."this is my first drink as an Addington..this is my first bite as an Addington" :) Sweet boy was beyond excited!!
