Jan 22-28

January 22
(Day 22)

Ace took a morning nap on the couch

Before Awana we stopped by Barnes and Noble to pick up some books for Aidan to practice reading. We are so proud of how well he is doing, I hope he has the same love of reading that I do :)
January 23
(Day 23)

Thursday was the 100th day of school and Aidan had to bring in items that represented 100 things.
Thank you Pinterest!

This boy was especially handsome that day!

January 24
(Day 24)

Ace isn't always happy but he is always adorable :)

Friday night we watched "How to Train Your Dragon" and ate some pizza.
Maggie watched it with us :)

January 25
(Day 25)

Saturday morning Aidan and Ace played Wild Kratts
(Aidan made them 'creature pods')

That evening we decided to attempt eating out...it went well, but we ate fast :)

This little guy hung out in his car seat for a little while, and then Mommy held him. I would say our first time to eat dinner out as a family of  four was a success!

That night Ace had a bath...
look at that face!

January 26
(Day 26)

We went to church...someone wasn't overly excited about taking a picture

When I was getting ready for bed, Aidan climbed up and laid next to his brother.
I think baby brother was happy about it :)

January 28
(Day 28)

School was released early yesterday because of a chance of snow...it was perfect timing because when I got to the car rider line it was looking like this outside!

While we were waiting on Daddy to get home we made some slimy goop.
This was the first time it had snowed in Atlanta in 3 years. It was crazy!! It took Trent 4 hours to get home when it usually only takes 30 mins. So many cars were stranded and our neighbor had a 9 hour commute home from his work. There were SO many stories of people helping others by giving them a warm place to sleep for the night and passing out drinks and food to those sitting in the traffic. Thankfully Trent made it home quicker than most and we were able to stay warm in our home that night.

Before it got dark Trent took Aidan out to our city's fairgrounds and they went sledding. Aidan
had a blast! He was so excited that it had finally snowed!!

While Daddy and Aidan went sledding and played in the snow, Mommy rocked this sweet boy while he took a nap. (Right now this is the only way he naps during the day, let's just say that the house is quite a mess.)
