January 15

(Day 15)

We've started a little tradition after school every Wednesday, on our way to Awana we pick up drinks at McDonalds. Aidan's favorite special drink is Sprite. We don't keep any in the house so any time we go out to eat or make a stop at McD's that is what he orders :)

 That night before bed, while mommy was folding laundry, we tried to measure Ace to see how long he is now. Mommy's measurement read 23 inches. Aidan's read 27 :)

January 16

(Day 16)

Ace got a new hat at Babies R Us and got to wear it to pick up big brother from school :)

It was a cold day here in GA but mommy needed to get out of the house and go for a walk. It was too cold for Ace but not for Aidan and Maggie. (side note: if you just mention going for a walk, Maggie flips out! She loves to go.)

January 17

Ace turned 5 weeks old

We've gotten a few "real" smiles from this baby boy. LOVE!

Big brother hanging out with baby brother

 Aidan and mommy went grocery shopping late Saturday morning and also had a lunch date. Love my big boy and am so proud of how great a big brother he is!

That night we made brownies :)

January 19

(Day 19)

That afternoon Aidan and daddy went to watch some bull riding. Aidan loved it for about an hour and a half and then he got tired :)

(Day 20)

Monday was MLK day and Aidan was out of school. Daddy got up early to go fishing and Aidan and I colored while Ace took a morning nap

That afternoon we met Daddy at the lake and he and Aidan went fishing for a couple of hours

 That night Aidan and Ace enjoyed some tummy time together :)

January 21

(Day 21)

We took brother to school, came home and took a little nap and someone woke up a happy boy!

Mrs. Brooke came up and visited us for a while and Ace had his first up the back poopy diaper, while sitting on Mrs. Brooke's lap!

Had to take a picture of this milestone :) 

That night before bed, Aidan helped me clean the kitchen, such a big helper!
