Second Grade and Apple Picking!

We spent our last week of summer break doing some fun stuff!

On Tuesday we went to the Science Museum with Mrs. Wendy and Vincent.

Both Aidan and Ace had the best time!

On Wednesday we swam with our friends the Grotbecks. It was kind of a rainy day, but we made the best of it. The boys didn't seem to mind at all :)

On Thursday, we met Daddy at the MN State Fair and did some exploring.

They had a super cute little farmers exhibit. The boys got to plant some veggies, milk a cow and then "sell" their produce for a prize. So fun!! Ace loved it just as much as big brother!

We stopped by the Republican tent and spent some time with President Lincoln and President Reagan :)

We saw a lot of cows, pigs, horses and goats!!

And we spent a pretty penny on a carousal ride ;)

Ace kept saying "Woah!!"

On Friday, we made a trip to the MN Zoo, with Mrs. Wendy and Vincent. 

The zoo is always fun!

That weekend was Labor Day weekend, we spent the whole weekend with friends and this was the only picture I took. 

Aidan and I made a trip to Barnes and Noble, and picked up a few more Magic Tree House books.

Love that he loves to read!

School started that Tuesday after Labor Day.

Aidan started off with a breakfast of champions... a big foot donut and strawberries :)

2nd day of school picture, Ace gets upset every time we drop Aidan off. He got used to Bubba being at home with us all the time. I feel his pain :(

He had a great first week of school and I am so glad!

That Sunday after church we went to a local apple orchard to pick some apples!

So TALL!!

We took a hay ride to the orchard. Ace said "Woah!" again the entire time :)

Could not get him to stand still for anything. This kid is always on the move!!
