(Day 36)

Poppa Shish and Grandma K flew in to visit us. We were so excited to see them!

February 6

(Day 37)

During the day we just hung out until Aidan got out of school. That evening when I left for Stacey's baby shower, Grandma K, Poppa Shish, Daddy and Aidan went to eat at Red Robin (Aidan's choice).

Ace and Mommy went to Lyndsay's house for the shower.

We had so much fun celebrating baby Anna!

February 7

(Day 38)

Friday morning, Mommy kept trying to get a smile out of Ace and then Daddy walked in and got this big ol' smile :)

That night we went and ate dinner at Longhorn. It was super yummy and Ace slept the entire time!

February 8

(Day 39)

Saturday morning we met Poppa Shish and Grandma K for breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Then Grandma K, Mommy and Ace went to take Ace to a doctor appointment to check and see if he had thrush. I thought he may have had it, but turns out he just has what they call "milk tongue". Which is completely normal :) They did weigh him and he is a whopping 12 lbs 1 oz. About 5 lbs bigger than he was at birth. He's getting chunky!

 Daddy grilled dinner and after we ate we got ready to head up to Dairy Queen to get some dessert. And of course it was delicious :)

After DQ we dropped Grandma K and Poppa Shish off at their hotel and had to say our goodbyes. Daddy took them to the airport early the next morning. We were sad to see them leave, but so glad that they got to come visit!!

February 9

(Day 40)

  Mommy, Aidan, and Ace got ready for church, while Daddy took Poppa Shish and Grandma K to the airport.

Daddy got home and we tried to take a picture before Ace ate...

and this picture was after he ate. Totally different baby :)

(Day 41)

Tuesday we had our first snow day of the week. A snow/ice storm was supposed to start it's way through on Tuesday and we got about an inch of very wet snow, but it melted by the afternoon. But the real storm came through Tuesday night and throughout Wednesday.

During the day, Aidan read us some books...

helped Momma fold clothes...

and we played a game.

Aidan also worked on drawing all 44 presidents :)

Aidan is doing such a great job reading, so very proud of him!!

We took a drive in the afternoon, because we figured we wouldn't be getting out of the house much for the next couple of days. That night we had dinner and watched Dennis the Menace, Aidan thought it was hilarious :)
