Fall Fun 2013

Our past couple of weekends have been full of family fun! They have been busy and we were worn out come Sunday night but they have been the best!

Two Saturday's ago Aidan had two back to back t-ball games in the morning, then we went and did some shopping for pictures we had on Sunday. That afternoon Aidan and I helped out at the Whispering Hope (a pregnancy crisis center that our church sponsors) 5k. We helped with registration and Aidan got to run in the kid's fun run. He loved it...even though it was 85 degrees outside!!

About to cross the finish line!

All the racers took a group photo :)

Daddy had been in a fishing tournament all day and he met us right before Aidan ran, then afterwards we went and ate dinner at Steak and Shake.

Sunday morning we went to church, had lunch and made a last minute trip to pick up shoes for our pictures (it was a process getting everything ready :). Then we all went to our neighbor and friend Jack's 4th birthday party. Aidan had a great time!

After Jack's party we came home and got ready to go take some maternity pictures with our friend Debbie, she is an amazing photographer!!

Debbie and I posing, she was showing us what she wanted Trent to do :)

We had so much fun taking pictures and they turned out beautifully!!

These are just a couple, she sent me 79 pictures to look through and they are all amazing!

One night last week, Trent and I came upstairs to go to bed and found Aidan asleep like this in his room :)

Last Wednesday I got a call from Aidan's school that he had an upset stomach and had had an accident. I came and picked him up and he was acting completely fine. We sat down to watch a movie and by 5:30 he was asleep and slept until 8:00 the next morning. I don't know if he had a virus but whatever it was he slept it all away!

My sweet boy

This past Saturday morning Aidan had another t-ball game. We thought it would be his last because we are going to miss this week's game but turns out they play a little tournament as well, so he may get to play up to two more games.

Here is a video of him running to 3rd base, as he gets to the base the 3rd baseman runs over, but no worries he didn't have the ball, so Aidan was safe :)

After the game we had lunch and headed to Uncle Shuck's corn maze. In reality it should have taken us about 30 mins to get there but our gps decided to take us on a little hour long detour. Oh well!

Following the map

Pretending to take a bite out of the corn :)

In the maze they had a little Clue game set up and at different checkpoints you marked off who didn't kill Farmer Joe (kind of morbid), we reached all the checkpoints and found out that the chickens did it, at the outhouse, with a wrench :/

All smiles when we figured it out

They had some goats in a pen, so Aidan got to feed them.

Then they had a goat that would walk up this plank thing and you could send food up to it.

They had some tractor tires set up for kids to climb on. The first time Aidan went to climb there were quite a few kids so he never would climb to the top, so we went back at the end and most of the kids had left so he made his way up :)

They had a corn shooter set up and when we went to use it, they had just shot the last of the corn out. The guy running it asked if any of the kids wanted to go help him pick up the corn and Aidan wanted to.

Look at our little helper out there :)

Then it was his turn to shoot, with a little help from Daddy he hit the truck!

After Shuck's we came home and rested for about an hour or so and then dressed up in our western wear :) and headed to the Cumming Fair and Festival.

Look at my two handsome guys!

The first thing we did was check out the petting zoo area. Aidan fed the baby goats, but stayed away from the "bully goat"...there was a goat in the corner that did not look like he wanted to be messed with so Daddy said that it looked like a bully goat. Aidan stayed clear of him!

After the petting zoo, we had time to ride a few rides before the Bull Riding competition started.

Aidan and Daddy rode the bumper cars. I think they both had fun :)

Aidan still wasn't sure about riding some of the bigger rides (don't think I blame him) so he stuck with the carousel :)

Then he did this! He climbed all the way to the top all by himself and slid down. So proud of him!

After the rides we got some dinner and headed to the rodeo arena to watch some bull riding, Aidan loved it but got tired of it quickly. None of the riders were really that great so we didn't get to see a whole lot of action.

Sunday morning we went to church, had lunch with friends and headed to Kinsey farm (a local tree farm) they had a hay ride, petting zoo, catfish pond, and pumpkins. We decided to skip the petting zoo since we had had a double dose of it the day before.

Checking out the catfish pond, all the fish were full so we only got to see them when they would surface every once and a while. But look at the trees, it was so pretty there! During Christmas you can go and cut down your own Christmas tree, I think we are going to try to do it this year! I kept saying how beautiful it looked and I'm pretty sure Trent was getting annoyed with me for saying it so much :)

We picked out our pumpkins

I mean sometimes it amazes me that I birthed such a beautiful child :) God has blessed us so much with this kid!

Our family pumpkins. We picked out a Daddy, Mommy, Aidan, baby Ace and Maggie pumpkin and then one extra pumpkin to carve.

We left the farm, headed home loaded up the boat and Maggie and headed out for a Sunday afternoon fishing trip. It was a beautiful day!

Aidan driving the boat. When he drives he speaks in his "man" voice. I love it!

Aidan caught a few fish.
Here he is touching one of his fish :)

We had the best family weekend! We leave tomorrow for our last family trip before baby Ace gets here. Sea World here we come!!

Speaking of baby Ace here is a picture of my belly at 31 weeks and...

today marks 32 weeks. He will be here before we know it!
