We are Free Indeed

July is here and we have had a great month so far!

The fun actually started the last weekend in June. Saturday our little family went to the movies to see Monsters University. It was cute and we also got to mark going to a matinee off our bucket list!

 That night we went to our church's God and Country celebration. Aidan had so much fun on the jumpies,  eating ice cream and cotton candy, and getting his face painted! All the service men attending were honored and then we got to watch an awesome fireworks display (another bucket list item). We had a great time celebrating with our church family!

That following Monday we went to the zoo with our friends Jack, Lander and Ms. Brooke. Going to the zoo is also on our bucket list, so check that one off! We had such a great time as always, Aidan was right in his element :)

On the 3rd was our city's fireworks display we went with our friends "other" Aidan and his mommy

and daddy. ("other" Aidan lives next door to us and when they play together they call each other

"other" Aidan, it's pretty funny!)

It was a rainy night, but the rain couldn't keep us away. We still had a great time!

Fourth of July morning we went to our local Fourth of July parade with "other" Aidan and his mommy (also on our bucket list). The

boys had a great time collecting candy :)

The steam engines were so loud we all wore ear plugs that they handed out.

It was a great parade!

The next day we celebrated my 25th birthday! We had a great morning and headed to Panera (one of my favorite places) to eat lunch.

After lunch we headed to a store to pick out some curtains for our sliding glass door (my birthday present :)

Then we went by Dick's Sporting Goods and picked up a few copies of The Angler and look who was in it!

That afternoon Poppa Shish and Grandma K made it to our house. They were on a road trip and swung by GA to see us! We were so glad to see them! 

Friday night Mommy and Daddy got to go to dinner and a movie while Aidan ate dinner out with Poppa Shish and Grandma K. We had a great time and I know Aidan did too!

Saturday morning we all went to brunch at the Biscuit Barn and just kind of hung out. Later that afternoon we all went to eat with Aunt Angela and her friends (Aunt Angela happened to be in ATL that weekend too!) It was great to see everyone!

Sunday morning Poppa Shish and Grandma K headed out to continue on their road trip. We are so glad they got to visit us!

Last week we took it easy. Aidan and I went to a free movie at a local theater (on our bucket list). We had ourselves a little day date :)

Last Friday night the three of us went to a Brave's game. We all were so excited to go! The Brave's lost, but we got to see a really cool fireworks display after the game :)

 And here is our sweet boy yesterday before church...I don't think it can get any cuter than this :)
